So lets take a look at approximately about how big this little nugget of ours is.

Do you see that, 5.8 pounds? Seriously I cannot even fathom the idea of it being that big. But alas I know the baby is or will be that big. I can handle the length but the weight is what I am nervous about. But hey what girl isn't?
Speaking of growth take a look at my 34 week baby bump belly shot.
On to doctor/medical news. I have officially been without an OB or midwife since August 16th when we moved from Kentucky to Texas. It has been kind of nerve wracking not having a doctor to go see. To make a very long story short the reason for me being doctor-less has been Darnell Medical Hospital here on base is "at capacity" for seeing pregnant women from the months of September to February of 2011. So I have been trying to get authorization from the insurance company to see a civilian doctor. Today I was given my authorization and I now have a doctor again!
His name is Dr. William Louis, he has been practicing for 25 years I have not met him yet but he was the only doctor that could get me in before my due date. Apparently there is quite the baby boom around here.

My first appointment with him is next week, when I hit 35 weeks. Talk about me being an easy patient, all he gets to do is read my records and treat me for 5-8 weeks. Also now with me being treated by a civilian doctor I get to also deliver at a civilian hospital! Which also means I get to have my own private recovery room versus having to share. With Mike leaving a few weeks after the baby comes our time together as a new family is very important.
I have been working on the nursery for a while now so stay tuned for pictures from that.

You're absolutely adorable, did you know that? I'm not surprised to hear about the baby boom on-post.. especially after that FRG meeting. I'm so glad you found someone, though. And yeah, sometimes doing the civilian thing definitely has its perks.
A friend of mine just had her son.. something like 9 lbs and change when he was born. I can't even imagine. Seriously, though, you're a totally cute preggo. Like a button! A top-heavy, pregnant button. <3
I am so happy that you get the private room! I cannot imagine sharing a room with someone after labor.
