26 weeks- My last week in the 2nd trimester

Oh my how things grow. Baby Saenz is now the size of an eggplant.

I am starting to really feel pregnant these days. But that is a good thing I guess. I feel like this pregnancy has been flying by and I am trying to enjoy the last few weeks as much as possible. Not too much has changed from my last post about the baby. He or she is still kicking and punching a lot. I wake up in the middle of the night all the time to the kicks and jabs but I don't mind too much since I am up all the time to go potty. Mike feels the baby move a ton now, I swear sometimes he feels movement that I don't.

Overall I love being pregnant but it sure has been an adjustment to the giant boobs, stretch marks that are beginning to surface, and feeling very wide in light colors. But I wouldn't give up being pregnant for anything. Today Mike noticed that the dark line (linea nigra) on my belly is beginning to appear which I was hoping to avoid but I guess I will embrace that as well.
