My Husband, My Hero

Words alone can not express the love I feel for my husband. He is the most loving, kind, humble person I have ever known. While I sit here comfortably in a heated and secure home, he is over 8,000 miles away fighting for all of our rights.

Some days while talking to him you can hear in his voice that he is upbeat and doing well over there. But then there are the days that you can hear the sadness and loneliness that he feels. It breaks my heart to hear him in that way.

I am eternally thankful for the job that he does for this country. I am thankful that every morning; while I may wake up without him I can still feel his love that he has for me. It is with that love that we share for one another keeps both of us moving on day by day to get through this deployment.

Michael is not only a soldier, but he is my husband, and my hero.

He makes me laugh
He builds me up
He supports me in all that I do
He loves me for me
He is always sweet
He keeps me safe
He is the best

Please keep Michael and all of our men and women in your prayers. Thank you all for your continued support.

I love you both. The quote is so true. Though I've never really been through anything that compares.

I love this picture! He really is a true hero. By the way, you never told me how you like Peir 1 in Utah and if the girls are nice or not. I am so jealous about you being in school! Good luck!
