A few days ago I had jaw surgery so to say the least I have been a bit out of it. Thankfully Mike has been a champ and has been helping me as well as my mom who is here visiting from Utah. A few days ago Mike and I noticed our Pickers was not wanting to be touched around her back, about the place where her tail attaches to her body. We gave her two days to take it easy and then this morning while she was stretched out on my mom's bed I noticed a hole in her back. A perfectly round deep hole!!
I somehow managed to yell for Mike through my clenched jaw to have him come look. All of us agree that it looks like Pickers has been shot by a BB gun! So as I looked on Mike and my mom put some peroxide on Picker's wound and we are now watching it to see if it swells up. If it does than me and mom are on our way to the vets office.
Pickers seems to be fine and not bothered by her wound anymore but it makes me so damn mad. Who the hell shots a cat! Pickers is the sweetest cat around she loves ALL strangers and never does anything mean. After this discovery I have come to decide I hate guns even more now.

Guns don't shoot kitties... people do. I'm so very sorry! I'd be very pissed too!! I hope you both recover well. Let me know when you get my lame-o care package, er, envelope.
That is so sad! Why are people so dumb and trashy. If you are that bored you should get a job! And if you have a job and are still that bored, join a gym! And if you aren't old enough to get a job, go home and do your homework! I hope she is ok and is feeling better! And I think what goes around comes around, and whoever shot her will get what is coming to them!!!
Awww Candi poor kitty cat! I feel so bad:( I hope he gets better, I cant believe someone would do that. Best wishes Pickers!
