After a few hours of just relaxing around the house Mike and I decided to go out for sushi with some friends later that night. So we bundled up knowing there was some snow out there and off we went. We decided that snow driving was no big deal since after all we are from the state with the greatest snow on earth! The back roads to the freeway were slick since the plow hadn't gotten to them but we made it to the freeway! Now you would think the freeway would at least be salted and plowed right? Not down here it was just as bad as the back roads. We went 30mph the whole way down to Clarksville it took us about 40 min where noramly it is a 12 min drive. But we made it and so did our friends and the sushi was phenomenal!!! When we went back home the roads had been salted and plowed and the drive went much faster. :)
Chief wondering what the heck is this stuff?!
And then we woke up to this!
Since we had all this great snow we couldn't resist playing in it..........
Chief being so proud that the snowball missed him and hit the house instead
Me rubbing Chiefs face with my gloves
Chief trying to be as tall as he can be to get to my gloves to pull them off with his mouth
Us running up the driveway. Notice that pig is chest deep and sinking and I look like a frolicking little girl ( I look so cheesy)
I white washed Chief and now he wanted revenge
Chief after his hard morning of playing in the snow.
As of now the snow is not melting and I love that. Any little reminder of home can stay around, well at least till the 19th because the first official day of Spring is the 20th and I want to plant my garden.

So I have to say how funny it is that Camille posted how excited she was for the first signs of spring, and then you and I get snow! Looks like you guys had fun playing in it! I love the frolicking Candice, so like you!:)
Gosh Skoosh. That IS quite the big deal as far as snow goes. I DO think they were OK in their decision on closing stuff...THIS TIME. Southerner's are pretty odd...but I'm sure they are way excited to be able to play in it without having to pay the big ticket prices of coming to UTAH. I have no clue how our weather was here today. I slept until 7pm. I still feel quite ill. I'm getting a sub for my class tomorrow. I'm excited for spring though...I can't wait to send you your birthday gift! It will make you smile. =D
That looked like more than just a few flurries...you guys actually had some accumulation! What fun for you.
HA HA HA I've never noticed the little red wagon until today. =) I was too busy looking at pig being engulfed by the snow! It's not as bad as you make it sound you know.
